Jessica and Roger at Melted Metal were wonderful. I would highly suggest Melted Metal for both small vehicle maintenance and big repair jobs as well. The mechanics identified everything my jeep needed and intelligently suggested the best options for repairs for me, educating me on my vehicle. Communication with Jessica was fast and convenient. They were extremely patient and understanding while I navigated a unique financial situation.
Words truly can’t express how many great things I have to say about Roger, Jessica, and the Melted Metal Garage! Leaving my neighborhood recently, my car began smoking… I pulled over with no idea what to do.. I happened to be at the right place at the right time as Roger was turning in to open up shop, saw me, and rushed right over to help. After letting me know what he thought was wrong with the car, he offered to drive it over to his shop and confirm. He was kind, generous, honest, and sincere in his desire to help me out. Once he did a full diagnostic test on the car, we got a detailed report directly to our phones. They didn’t try to take advantage of us by pushing any extra work, and all of their prices were fair. Jessica was professional and efficient in all of their communications, and they got our car back to us as quickly as they could after a holiday weekend. Thank you guys - we are grateful and happy to support your local family business!!
Had an issue with my truck's ac. Rodger took time to chat with the problem over the phone and gave me a few recommendations. When I brought my truck in, they did their diagnostic and then sent a link with a write up and their findings. This is a fantastic auto shop and I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here in the future!
I was driving back to the city from my place in Bailey when my wheel bearing began to fall apart. Roger was teaching his kids how to ride bikes in his garage when I pulled up that evening. Melted metal still isnt open for business yet as their grand opening is next week. He was a very kind man told me to pull in to check it out. Free of charge Roger diagnosed my problem and told me to come back tomorrow and he could have me taken care of by noon.all in all, I haven't found this type of hospitality at any mechanic. His wife Jessica was also a very kind and helpful person and treated me to good conversatio while I waited for Roger to fix me up. He also looked at a couple other things on my vehicle that I asked him to and gave me a good idea of what I will need eventually. Honesty, integrity, and kind hearted. Roger has been my mechanic for years. It is so nice being a women and knowing you're not going to be taken advantage of. I don't feel like a "Mark" when I walk in. I've never had any problems with any of his work and nothing has ever "mysteriously" gone wrong after he works on my car. It's nice as a women to feel trusting and safe.
It is so nice to not the the annoying pulse when breaking anymore! Roger was honest with his diagnosis and more than willing to make sure we knew all of our options. Thankful to have a trusted and knowlegable mechanic close to home. Jessica (in office) was also very clear with her communications and had great follow up. Not to mention that I was only without my car for half the day which was helpful. Would highly recommend them!

Roger and Jessica are a terrific and very professional team. We have had a couple of our cars in for service. In both instances, they diagnosed the problems and sent detailed photos and information about the problems, what could be done, and an accurate price estimate. We were given a time frame for when the work would be completed and they delivered on schedule. It's great to have a mechanic we can count on. I am SOOO lucky I came across this shop. We were on a road trip when I started hearing a rattling noise in the front suspension. After arriving to my sister's house in Bailey, she told me her mechanic was the best. I dropped by Melted Metal, but the woman at the desk told me that they were booked solid. When I told her that I was in a tight situation and didn't want to take my family 1000 miles back home with the front suspension clearly having problems. She spoke with the owner/mechanic and he dropped everything to check out my car. He quickly found that some kind of connecting rod was failing. While we were talking, I happened to mention that the front end shakes under hard braking. He said he could fix that, but I had the sinking feeling that I had talked myself into and expensive brake replacement. Instead, he measured the disk brakes and told me he could just smooth them out with a special machine. The whole endeavor took a little over an hour and they fixed everything. The rattling is gone and the brakes are perfect. Thank you so much Melted Metal Garage!!!
I just want every one know that Roger the owner of the Melted Metal Garage is by far the very best mechanic and person I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. He has been very helpful in getting my grandson's car up and running. He goes out of his way to find the problem and doesn't charge an arm and leg. Roger and his wife Jessica are very professional and helpful. I highly recommend them to everyone in the Bailey and Conifer area.,
